Link building is very important, is my opinion. Only more important than links, is your URL and the content you put on it. New website with a Good Url's easyly wins it from a website that is 3 years online with a few hundred links.

Links are given different values depending on where they are located on page and which page of a website links to them. The higher up and closer to the home page the more value a link typically has. Search Engines also take into account the anchor text associated with a link and the theme of the page that the link is on.

Building links are acquired through 3 ways, the one way, two way and the three way link building. One way link building is to make a link from other website directed to yours without the need for you to put their link into your page. While two way link building is simply exchanging links to other webmaster. Just a tips, always remember to check on your link if it is still active and avoid putting up broken links.

Most clients when they learn about link building want to quantify the effort involved with undertaking such a task. Usually SEO professionals answer, it depends. … SEO is more than a one-off project to tick off on the to-do list.
